Yeti Farm Tour

Although we are currently living in a pandemic of global proportions my class still got a tour of  Yeti Farm Creative, even if we weren't there in person to see it. Thanks to Todd Ramsay our class was able to see what it was like in the studio even though most of the animation staff was not present. He told us what to expect in the workplace and what basically goes down within the studio. It was cool to see all the amazing artwork that were on the walls of the studio and it only made me want to visit the studio even more. We were able to see the work place and see all the rows of computers and drawing tablets, each station had a unique flare to it and it had a similar atmosphere to the computer rooms we have at CATO. One work spot had a delicious looking banana. The studio had an overall booming personality to it even if all the animators weren't there and it filled me with excitement and motivation on becoming a 2D animator.

Introduction

Hello my name is James. I'm a 2D Animation student at The Centre for Arts and Technology. I will be blogging my journey through this course and I will be posting my work (if I remember to) so you can see my progress and see me grow in experience. This journey will be quite interesting, although I've drawn all my life I have never digitally painted properly and all my knowledge prior to this course was a just a few YouTube videos that were about speed painting.  Thank you for sticking around!
